Thanks Mom

Often times I take for granted what my mother has done for me, and continues to do for me. When she comes over to the house, she drives me nuts with her constant cleaning and cooking. But what I have to remind myself of is that it’s her way of taking care of me, and telling me she loves me, which is very hard for her to verbalize. And even though it drives me INSANE, I enjoy it for what it is: a gesture of a mother’s love for her daughter.

Over at BabyCenter, they have a group called Thanks Mom where you can talk about how your mother has inspired you. Let me warn you now, the stories will make you cry, but in a good way! My story is fairly basic, but they are all worth a read! Stop by and share yours!
